The use of an 'interference' blue and grey creates an
eye-catching, shimmering, almost reflective surface.
When viewed from different
perspectives and angles, the background of this painting
changes hue:
from an off grey to a deeper, richer navy blue (blue,
blue-violet). Fascinating to to the mind and gaze.
