Esoterica: This painting was created as a partial tribute to
the artist's aunt, Mrs. Marilyn Norton - who
herself is a lifelong painter and art instructor
that inspired J. (then, Jason) to create art from a
very young age. J. is grateful for the early
inspiration and direction, and this painting reminds
him of his very talented, caring aunt's painting
style.
Mer, (prounounced 'mare') translated from French
means "sea."
